Good food at big portions for a great deal. The coffee stays warm and refilled regularly. My family loved the crispy hashbrowns and bacon. My boys devoured the fluffy French toast. The decor is dated but we actually liked these nostalgic vibes. Our family of four was seated pretty quickly despite a packed place that stayed busy the entire time we were there. The service is top notch. I wanted the eggs/bacon/hashbrowns plate but stupidly said ham instead of bacon. Even though it was my fault for ordering the wrong protein, our waitress still brought me a side of bacon to enjoy. Definitely going to come back to support this great establishment!

Our fave mom and pop breakfast spot! We've been coming here since we moved to Alameda 4 years ago. They always treat us like family whenever we come in. Best pancakes, great omelettes, can't go wrong! Just make sure you get here early on the weekends because the lines can be long. But that's how much of a staple they are :)

Best breakfast place on the island! The food is great! The staff is great! I highly recommend it!

I wanted to have a nice breakfast at an old style diner. It's been quite a long time and I want to support a local small business. We arrived and waited about 3 minutes for a table, the restaurant was really busy. We ordered an Avocado Burger and fruit and a regular breakfast of a slice of ham, 2 eggs and roasted potatoes. The service was quick and the food was also good. Exactly what I was looking for.

Solid diner experience! The service and ambiance is warm and feels like you're eating a family friend's house but w/ unlimited coffee refills and yummy eggs benny (I don't have many friends who casually make eggs benny this good ) For the food- eggs benny was delicious and it been on top of the crispy hash browns too was a combo I never knew I needed. The chicken+avocado omelet was solid but I think I can make something like that at home. The side of corned beef hash was a MUST! Loved it for some extra protein. It's not anything special but it always delivers and itches that brunch/diner craving!

I've been coming here for years !! It's a good comfort spot for a simple but delish breakfast . I'm really just obsessed with their waffles . Service is always quick . Sometimes on a busy day there will be a wait for lunch rush. Everyone is so friendly

A busy mom and pops restaurant with nice staff. A little bit of a wait to be seated on a Sunday morning. It's an older looking establishment but still very clean. I had real eggs scrambled with quality cheddar cheese. The bacon was thick. Good wheat toast slathered in melted butter. The rice was cooked perfectly. The coffee was ok.... The portion size was good, and the pricing was appropriate. I will definitely be back again!

Showed up a little after 9am on a Sunday. I was craving pancakes but wasn't in the mood for a chain like IHOP. There was no line so I was able to be seated immediately. It took a few mins for a server to drop off a menu, but another table had arrived just before me so no big deal. My pancakes came out STEAMING hot, which was fantastic. I just ordered two and they, as you can see, were large. Quite tasty as well. The bacon was fine- not fresh off the griddle but also didn't seem like it had been sitting for hours. It's a mom-and-pop vibe. Noisy with conversations but not distractingly so. Lots of families with kids this early. Some older pairs. Very comfortable. Overall a good first experience!
